Prof. Dr. Thomas Doert, Department of Chemistry and Food Chemistry, has been awarded the International Distinguished Professorship Program Grant of the Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES), Shanghai, China,

Prof. Doert will travel to Shanghai University of Engineering Science several times this year to give lectures on inorganic chemistry and materials research as well as to present his scientific research areas. Prof. Doert’s research is about binary and multinary pnictides and chalcogenides, their targeted syntheses, the elucidation of, their sometimes modulated, crystal structures, their chemical, electronic and magnetic properties and the description of their bonding situations.
