Introducing the School of Science
The Faculties of Biology, Chemistry and Food Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Psychology are currently educating more than 3.500 students in 27 Bachelor's- , Master's and Diploma degree programmes,plus 21 teacher training programmes. The school shows excellent learning and research conditions and appears innovative and international.

The strength in research of the School of Science and the excellent research environment in Dresden with the Helmholtz Centre in Dresden-Rossendorf, three Max Planck Institutes, two Leibniz Institutes and several Fraunhofer Institutes attract students and scientists from all over the world.
More than 1.000 staff members contribute to the school's success and help maintaining and enhancing the quality in teaching, research and administration.
