The services of the International Office at the School of Science are free of charge for partners, alumni and members of DRESDEN-concept.
Once a month, the School of Science Newsletter provides you with the latest information from the School regarding research projects, events and current calls for proposals. To subscribe to the newsletter free of charge, please register with your contact details at Newsletter MN - Registration.
Other ways to keep up to date concerning TU Dresden include visiting the website „Newsportal“ or subscribing to our social media channels a on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

The EURAXESS job search provides a list of many open research positions in Europe.
The DRESDEN-concept Welcome Center at TU Dresden helps international researchers from a minimum stay of three months with questions concerning immigration law, supports the preparation of all formalities for arrival in Germany and helps with finding accommodation.
Depending on how their research activities were structured, there are different contact persons.
- For confirmations of study periods (up to the year of exmatriculation 2015), proof of employment, certified copies of certificates, substitute documents, please contact Petra Nonas. More information can be found on their website.
- Certificates for degrees from the exmatriculation year 2016 (not yet archived student files) will be issued by Ms. Maike Thomas . More information can be found on their website.
- Information on legalisations with Apostille for submission outside Germany (e.g. for an application abroad or as proof for the employer) can be obtained at the Qualification Check.
- Proof of activity as a scholarship holder: Please contact the supervising faculty/scholarship programme or your former supervisor and ask for the relevant proof.
Together with the Philipp Schwartz Initiative, the TU Dresden supports at-risk scientists with a full scholarship for 24 months and was successful in the 2nd and 4th call for proposals.

Continuing education
Research alumni - and all those who want to become research alumni - have the opportunity to participate in various intercultural events and field trips for the purposes of continuing education.
In collaboration with the professors of our School, we organize specialized and interdisciplinary conferences for alumni and friends of TU Dresden. We take care of the entire event management from acquiring funding to providing individual support for guests.
Access to resources
The "Sächsische Landesbibliothek - Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Dresden" (Saxon State and University Library - SLUB) can be used by all members with a user card regardless of their alumni status. Details of how to acquire membership can be found in the Terms of Use of the SLUB .
