Traveling to Dresden

By plane
Dresden has a small airport which offers daily flights to the main German airports (Frankfurt, Munich, and Dusseldorf) and to a few airports abroad (e.g., Amsterdam, Moscow, Zürich).
The city can then be reached by taking the local train S2 in the underground of the airport, which runs twice an hour. Tickets can be bought in a ticket dispenser and are valid for one hour. After a twenty minutes ride, please get off the train in Dresden main train station ("Dresden Hauptbahnhof").

In the case you cannot fly to Dresden, we recommend flying to Berlin.
Dresden can then be reached by bus (e.g., with Flixbus).
The ride from Berlin Tegel (resp., from Berlin Schönefeld) takes three hours and ten minutes (resp., two hours and ten minutes). In any rate, we recommend getting off in "Dresden Hauptbahnhof".
By train
The city of Dresden can also be reached by train. Your journey should end in "Dresden Hauptbahnhof".
