Applied Analysis as major field of study
Applied Analysis is concerned with mathematics at the intersection to the natural-, engineering- and life-sciences. A common topic in Applied Analysis is to understand and explain phenomena observed in nature by mathematical modeling and analysis. In many cases this leads to deep and interesting mathematical structures and problems.

Wir bieten Vorlesungen und Seminare für Studenten der Bachelor- und Masterstudiengänge an. In öffentlichen Vorträgen stellen wir Aspekte der Mathematik einem allgemeinen Publikum vor. Interessierte Schüler können bei uns einen Einblick in die mathematische Forschung im Rahmen von Schülerpraktika gewinnen.
