Physikalisch-Philosophisches Kolloquium: Über die Riemann-Einstein-Struktur der Raumzeit und ihre möglichen Gültigkeitsgrenzen

Kurzfassung: In der Physik wird heute im eher mikroskopischen Bereich angenommen, dass Raum und Zeit eine (flache) Minkowskische Geometrie (1908) befolgen. In makroskopischen und kosmologischen Bereichen stellt sich die Geometrie als die einer (gekrümmten) pseudo- Riemannschen Raumzeit dar. Diese wurde hauptsächlich von Einstein im Rahmen seiner Gravitationstheorie 1916 gefunden. Wir stellen die Beobachtungen/Experimente/ Erfahrungen dar, die zu den genannten Bildern führen. Wir überstreichen dabei einen Erfahrungsbereich von 10-19 bis zu 10+26 Meter. Mögliche Gültigkeitsgrenzen werden angedeutet, die Stellung des Raumzeit-Konzepts innerhalb der Naturgesetze angesprochen. Wir versuchen in diesem Kolloquium, experimentelle und theoretische Physiker und Philosophen gleichermaßen anzusprechen, einschließlich der entsprechenden Studenten. Literatur: F. W. Hehl und C. Biographie: Friedrich W. Hehl ist ein theoretischer Physiker mit breit gefächerten Interessen, die sich nicht nur anhand seiner vieler Bücher und Forschungsartikel nachvollziehen lassen, sondern auch in zahlreichen Kooperationen ihre Verwirklichung finden. Zusätzlich zur Gravitation und der allgemeinen Relativitätstheorie beschäftigt er sich mit Kosmologie, Computeralgebra und Erkenntnistheorie. Nach einer Dozentur an der TU Clausthal lehrte und forscht er an der Universität zu Köln und am Department of Physics and Astronomy, Univ. of Missouri, Columbia, USA. Die Auseinandersetzung mit den Grundlagen der Physik führte ihn stets zu erkenntnistheoretischen Fragen, welche die Verbundenheit von Physik und Philosophie offenbaren.
