Doctorate at the Faculty of Psychology

Legal notice:
In addition to the doctoral regulations, doctoral candidates of the Faculty of Psychology are requested to observe the procedural guidelines for doctoral studies at the Faculty of Psychology and the information on dissertations. If in a doctoral procedure the dissertation is to be reviewed by an academic staff member, an application with justification is required for this.
As of 1.6.2021, the procedural guideline for the implementation of the GSP statutes in doctoral theses at the Faculty of Psychology will come into force. Please refer to it before submitting admission and opening applications. Special attention is drawn to the following addition to the doctoral regulations:
- Two supervisors for the doctoral project are required for acceptance as a doctoral candidate.
- Doctoral candidates are required to provide evidence of attendance at a minimum one-day course in good scientific practice to open the process.
- The dissertation must be evaluated by an external reviewer. To review the criteria for external reviewers, please use this form.
