The current issue highlights the Center for International Studies (ZIS) at TU Dresden. The ZIS cooperates with more than 30 universities and colleges around the world and contributes to the international reputation of TU Dresden. Behind the “International Relations” degree course, which is unique in Germany, lies the fact that economics, international law and political science are studied on an equal footing. This means more intensive advice and support than in other degree courses. The Bachelor's degree course introduced in 1998 was undergraduate and interdisciplinary. The classic constellation of major and minor subjects did not exist, but the subjects were studied on an equal footing. Each year, 35 Bachelor students are admitted. In the Master's program it is 25 to 30. Their alumni are very much in demand and are taking very interesting paths.
