His studies of political science, modern and contemporary history and sociology at Technische Universität Dresden laid the foundation for Markus Weinberg's current editorial work, and thus for his latest film "Jonas Deichmann - Das Limit bin nur ich. (The limit is just me)”. It startet in German cinemas on May 19, 2022.

Weinberg was a competitive athlete and professional racing cyclist during his studies and was given the task of reporting on a cycling race in Africa for a German TV broadcaster. That was his start as a freelance editor. He was successful in combining his love for cycling with his professional goals. This is how he met Jonas Deichmann at a cycling exhibition. It was his idea of a triathlon once around the world that animated Weinberg to make a film about it. He accompanied the extreme athlete, who probably completed the most spectacular triathlon, in  the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
