Admission requirements
The admission requirement for the study course is a degree from a university recognised in Germany, and at least one year of relevant professional activity.

Application hints and tips
If, at the time of application, proof of the first degree qualifying the applicant for a profession is not yet available, the application will be considered under the precondition that 80% of the credit points attainable for the degree have already been achieved based on completed module examinations or the final thesis and the colloquium (if applicable). A certification from the awarding institute of higher education (examination office) serves as proof of the above-mentioned academic achievements. General information for the degree programme
This programme aims at developing scientific and methodological skills and qualifications as well as practical qualifications for professions in vocational education and human resources development, particularly country-specific projecting, planning and design of vocational (continuing) education and company-related human resources development.
The course of study consists of nine mandatory modules and one mandatory elective, which enables students to chose a specialisation. The following mandatory modules have to be attended: "Basics of Vocational and Continuing Education", "Design of Learning and Teaching Processes", "Psychology of Learning", "Management Processes", "Analysis of Research-Production-Education", "Scientific Work", "Projecting of Educational Systems", "Professional Internship" and "Master´s Thesis". Students are able to choose one of the following mandatory electives: "Human Resources Development", "Design of Communication Processes", "Quality Management Systems", "Subject-specific Didactics" or "Educational Technology".
