University didactics
The Center for Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching’s (ZiLL) university and media-didactic continuing education program focuses on methods, techniques and strategies for professionalizing your teaching. The program is rounded off by numerous consultation services on preparation and follow-up work as well as on teaching classes. ZiLL also offers courses via the Center for University Didactics in Saxony. With the Saxon university didactics continuing education program, you are sure to find workshops to suit your needs. These workshops are free for all university lecturers in Saxony.

Research-oriented learning and teaching
ZiLL’s services and resources for research-oriented teaching explore how cutting-edge research can be integrated into teaching. Today’s professional world calls for interdisciplinary thought, the ability to grasp complex issues quickly, and the development of new, context-specific solutions. “Research and Learning in an Interdisciplinary Context” uses innovative teaching and learning methods, such as inquiry-based learning, problem-based learning and flipped classroom. Writing didactics
TU Dresden's Writing Center is the central point of contact for academic reading and writing as these are key competencies both for student and working life. Continuing education for tutors
TUTORING hybrid offers a central qualification for tutors of all degree programs at TU Dresden. At the same time, this qualification for tutors is geared towards the individual needs of each student and the subject-specific requirements of their course of study. In addition to preparing students for their work as a tutor, the program promotes skills that will also be useful later in their careers, both when applying for jobs and in their daily working lives. Independent learning course on inclusive university teaching
This independent study course teaches the fundamentals of inclusive higher education in a way that is both easy to follow and practical. After completing the course, you will be able to incorporate accessible teaching materials and tools for inclusive teaching into your day-to-day teaching.
Required learning time: 5 modules, each lasting 90 minutes

The fundamentals of e-teaching
In this independent study module, participants learn about media didactic basics and can select two of the following topics to work on independently: Teaching and learning organization, using media to relay information and using computers to communicate
Supervision of seminar papers and final theses online course
Required learning time: up to 60 work units (1 work unit = 45 minutes), participation can be recognized as AKTive Lehre as part of the Saxon Higher Education Didactics Certificate
