Chemistry connects: International online lecture series for students
From March 26, 2026, the TUD Dresden University of Technology (TUD) invites students from grade 9 onwards to an exciting journey of discovery into the world of modern chemistry with the new online lecture series "Streifzug durch die Chemie". On five dates, the focus will be on current topics, fascinating questions and illustrative experiments. The aim is to explain chemical relationships in an understandable way, provide insights into research and awaken a lasting enthusiasm for science.
With GoGlobal, a cooperation partner has been found to attract pupils from Ukraine in a targeted manner and enable them to participate in education. At the same time, the lecture series is open to all interested pupils - registration is now open.
Dates and topics at a glance
The online lecture series will start on Thursday, March 26, 2026, with all subsequent dates scheduled for Wednesdays.
All lectures will take place via the online platform Zoom from 17:00-18:00.

Pupils in grades 9-13, (chemistry) teachers and other interested parties can register for individual or all dates by emailing studienbruecke@tu-dresden.de.
Please note: The lecture series will mainly be held in English. Subtitles can be displayed in a language of your choice.

A special partner of the series is GoGlobal. The organization is committed to providing Ukrainian children and young people with access to high-quality educational opportunities.
Through this cooperation, the lecture series will also be made accessible in a targeted manner to young people who have limited access to educational resources due to current challenges. GoGlobal provides support in addressing, networking and integrating this target group, thus making a significant contribution to the international openness and social impact of the event series.
The collaboration underlines the common goal of making education accessible across borders and inspiring young talent for science and research.
