Inspiration for our social coexistence: “Weeks of Responsibility 2025” started
In November and December, the “Weeks of Responsibility” will once again feature a variety of events from the University Culture department of TUD Dresden University of Technology. All events are free of charge and are aimed at students and employees of TUD. The wide range of topics offers something for everyone.
The “Diversity Days” are an annua fixture. Following the motto “Origin shapes – diversity moves!”, this year's event focuses on the various dimensions of origin and how they determine our (co)existence.
To mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on November 25, TUD is once again sending a clear message against gender-based violence with a diverse program of events, including self-defense courses and a film screening of the movie “In die Sonne schauen” at the Zentralkino cinema.
With a special focus on the mental health of students, the TUD Health Services also offer helpful workshops on coping with challenging situations such as stress, crises, or loneliness.
Knowledgeable information on the topic of sustainability is also on the agenda, including the Public Climate School from November 24 to 30. Another focus lies on opportunities to design and test sustainable teaching at TUD.
Participatory formats in the field of campus life also invite critical engagement with the university's present and past. For example, a university forum on defense research on December 15 will provide not only impulses but above all space for exchange and debate.
A cooperation with Dresden's public libraries completes the “Weeks of Responsibility” program and opens up dialogue with society. Family events during Advent are a particular highlight. At the “children's question show” with host Jana Forkel, children can ask all their questions about family, generations, and Christmas.
The entire program can be found on the “Weeks of Responsibility” website.
