"The Digital Company Fire Brigade at TU Dresden"
It is the task and objective of the Computer Emergency Response Team of TU Dresden (TUD-CERT) to support all members of TU Dresden better than before in the prevention and detection of cyber attacks and in the handling of security incidents.
Concerning prevention, the CERT is responsible for the precautionary measures for the detection of attacks and measures for their defence. We warn of security gaps at an early stage.
The Computer Emergency Response Team has the task of reacting and responding appropriately to incidents and problems such as attacks. Damage should be prevented through the implementation of suitable measures. The further spreading of security-relevant incidents should also be prevented.
A Computer Emergency Response Team also operates in the area of Security Quality Management, thus improving IT security at TU Dresden.
