What is the legal basis for the processing of personal data?

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR (consent), i.e. the use of and consent to the associated processing of your personal data are voluntary.

What personal data is processed?

The personal data specified in the application form will be processed, including Surname, first name, address, telephone number and date of birth.

How long will personal data be stored?

The data is stored for the duration of your membership of the association. If data storage is based on consent, it will be stored until consent is withdrawn or your membership of the association ends. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent until it is withdrawn.

If personal data is transmitted to recipients, who at TU Dresden has access to this data and is data collected from third parties?

Unless otherwise stipulated by law or you have expressly consented in individual cases, no personal data will be transferred to third parties.

What rights do data subjects have?

• Voluntariness and revocation according to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR
  The provision of personal data is voluntary. Consent to the processing of personal data can be revoked at any time in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR with the consequence that the personal data of the person concerned will no longer be processed.
• Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR)
  Data subjects have the right to request information about the personal data processed about them and the possible recipients of this data at any time. They are entitled to a response within one month of receipt of the request for information.
