On Thursday, February 1, 2024, the vernissage for the opening of the exam exhibition "When we become visible" took place from 6 pm. The event was organized by 21 students of art education at TU Dresden, who were each allowed to present the artistic works they had created over the semester in the university's historic Görges Building. Numerous art enthusiasts, relatives, friends and lecturers from the Department of Art Education gave the works and their creators their attention that evening - from private to political: each of the students had made a topic close to his or her heart visible in his or her work.

Last but not least, on the evening of the vernissage, the substitute professor of art education, Dr. Christin Lübke, was bid farewell in a festive setting. Special thanks were also due to the lecturers Svea Duwe and Thomas Judisch, who supported the students throughout the semester, particularly in the artistic work process, but also assisted them in setting up the exhibition and organizing the vernissage.

Ultimately, the vernissage can also be seen as an event that has once again strengthened the Department of Art Education at TU Dresden: The art education students, who are often overlooked at the Technical University, have made themselves and their degree program visible here.
