Commitment against queer hostility at TU Dresden
In times of social polarization, issues of gender and sexual diversity are increasingly becoming the focus of political debate. Universities, traditionally places of critical reflection and social openness, are increasingly becoming the target of queer-hostile and anti-feminist attacks. The article by Peps Gutsche, Eddu Steinfeldt-Mehrtens and Katharina Völsch from the Network for Anti-Discrimination at Universities sheds light on how right-wing discourse and political measures influence the climate at universities - and what can be done to counteract this. The full text can be viewed here: Universities as places of queer-hostile attacks. Political analysis and
recommendations for action.
