How to... Uni
University is a strange place for you that you've never been to before?
That's easy to change! Even if every beginning in a new environment is difficult, your start at a university is not impossible just because you've never sat in a lecture hall before.
Most of your fellow students, just like you, have never been to TU Dresden and probably haven't studied before either. So, don't let them put you off! The first time is chaotic and new for everyone, and you are not alone in feeling this way.

Early warning system PASST?! - Together for academic success
There can always be phases during your studies when not everything goes according to plan. PASST?! is there to provide you with timely support.
If you take part in PASST?!, the TUD will automatically check your progress once a semester. For example, it will check whether you have only earned a few credit points over a longer period of time, whether you have failed exams several times or whether your study time has been significantly extended.
If one of these warning signals is true, you will receive an email with suitable advice and support services. You will be made directly aware of assistance that can help you get back on track. Even if everything is going well, you will receive feedback so you can keep track at all times.
Participation is voluntary, free of charge and open to all students. With PASST?! you have the TUD as a partner at your side - so that you can recognize challenges in your studies at an early stage and master them successfully.
