Inclusive working environment
Working at TU Dresden means that different requirements, experiences, and needs are taken into account and structurally considered. The right to equal participation in working life is not only enshrined in Article 27 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities - it also forms a guiding principle for the further development of TU Dresden as an inclusive employer.

Advice and support services
- Inclusion Officer of the Employer TU Dresden Advice for employees with a recognized disability or chronic illness - e.g., on the barrier-free design of workplaces, rooms, and processes. Basis: SGB IX.
- Representative of Employees with Disabilities Advocates for the recruitment and participation of people with disabilities and advises employees in all matters.
- Personnel Representation Council: Represents the interests of employees in relation to the university. Provides support on labor law issues and works closely with the Representative of Employees with Disabilities and the Inclusion Officers.
- Unit Safety at Work: Advice on occupational health and safety and fire protection for all employees and students.
- Unit Occupational Health Services: Tips and measures to protect health and promote a healthy lifestyle in the workplace.
- Career Service: Support with starting a career, incl. application document check - particularly relevant for doctoral students with an employment relationship.
