You can study languages at the Faculty of Linguistics, Literature and Cultural Studies. You will research languages and learn their rules. You will also learn about the history, literature and culture of the countries. Once you have completed your studies, you can become a journalist or translator, for example.

Bachelor's degree programs

Many subjects begin with a Bachelor's degree. This usually lasts 6 semesters, i.e. 3 years. The course ends with a Bachelor's thesis. Students who have studied a humanities subject, such as history, are awarded the title "Bachelor of Arts". If you have studied a natural science, for example chemistry, you will be awarded the title "Bachelor of Science". After the Bachelor's degree, you can continue your studies in a Master's program.

Master's degree programs

Once you have successfully completed your Bachelor's degree, you can then begin a Master's degree course. This usually lasts 4 semesters, i.e. 2 years. The course ends with a Master's thesis. If you have studied a humanities subject, for example history, you will be awarded the title "Master of Arts". Those who have studied a natural science, for example chemistry, are awarded the title "Master of Science". A special feature is the double Master's program. It enables students to obtain two degrees - a Master's degree (Master of Arts) and a Laurea Magistrale. An integral part of the double master's program is a stay abroad for two semesters (1 year) at our partner university in ... . Double Master's degrees offer a wide range of opportunities and possibilities on the international job market thanks to in-depth language skills.

Degree programs

As an alternative to a bachelor's degree, you can also start a diploma course. This usually takes 8 semesters, i.e. 4 years. The course ends with a diploma thesis. Those who successfully complete the course are awarded a Diplom-XY... . After the diploma, a Master's degree course can be continued. A special feature is the double degree. Here, in cooperation with a foreign partner university, you acquire two diploma degrees, one German and one from the partner university. The prerequisite is a longer stay abroad. Double degrees offer a wide range of opportunities and possibilities on the international job market thanks to in-depth language skills.
