Scientific Advisory Board

Since the 03. Nov 2022, the Center for Information Services and High Performance Computing (ZIH) has a new scientific advisory board. This board consists of ten user-representatives from different german universities and/or tertiary institutes, as well as from various faculties at the TU Dresden (mathematics and natural sciences, computer science, medicine and selected engineer-scientific faculties). The function of the scientific advisory board will mainly be to advise the Director of the ZIH in the context of Procurement and Appropriation of High Performance Computer Science, to give recommendations and to assist in the decision-making concerning the University body.

One of the controlling bodies is the NHR Utilization Committee. This is responsible for inspecting and monitoring the fair allocation of computing resources available at all NHR centers. (NHR=National High Performance Computing).
