Central IP address management
The ZIH provides subnets for working groups from the public and private IP networks it manages.
public IP networks in central administration:
141.30.0.0/16 (141.30.0.0 - 141.30.255.255) TUD
141.76.0.0/16 (141.76.0.0 - 141.76.255.255)) TUD & UKD
private IP networks in central administration::
172.16.0.0/12 (172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255)
192.168.0.0/16 (192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255)
private IP networks without central administration::
10.0.0.0/8 (10.0.0.0 bis 10.255.255.255)
Scope of services:
- IP subnets
- Routing to / from the subnets ( see connection to the central data network)

Application
- Request to the service desk by the official IT administrator of the institution: Developement of the network concept (appointment in coordination with the ZIH)
Authorization
- The authorized applicant is the official IT administrator, in coordination with the IT department's representative.
Note: "official IT administrator" is the employee of the TU Dresden appointed by the head of the respective institution as an IT administrator to the ZIH. The IT administrator must be demonstrably committed to privacy secrecy by the head of the organization according to the circular.
- Concept for the use of the requestet subnet
- The official IT administrator is the contact person for the ZIH
This service is free.
Provisioning Time:
- When all necessary approvals are available and the technical prerequisites are met, the provision is normally made within a maximum of one working week.
