With the following self-study courses, you can work individually and self-directed on a topic from the field of (digital) university teaching:
- Inclusive university teaching
This self-study course offers you the opportunity to acquire the basics of inclusive university teaching through self-study. After participating, you will be familiar with the importance of the topic of inclusion for university teaching and will be able to assess individual courses from the perspective of "inclusive teaching". In the course, you will learn to distinguish between the individual model of disability and the social model of disability and use this distinction to identify barriers within your own teaching. Learn strategies to break down fundamental barriers in teaching! After completing the course, you will be familiar with methods that promote open communication about barriers between you and your students and will have practiced creating accessible materials using guidelines. The focus is always on practical relevance and so you will be asked to record initial application ideas for your own teaching in short exercises.
