Teaching staff in the university service
The ZLSB is supported in the fulfillment of its tasks by seconded university teachers. They play a special role in networking and cooperation with schools. By incorporating their practical experience, the quality of teacher training in the interlinking of subject and educational theory with pedagogical and didactic practice in the first phase of teacher training is to be significantly improved. The teaching staff are involved in the development, implementation and evaluation of the concept of integrated teacher training as well as teacher training and further training at TU Dresden and are actively involved in the working groups existing at the ZLSB. In the first phase of teacher training, they are involved in courses in selected subject areas and in the supervision of students in school internships. In addition, they have the opportunity to gain further qualifications as part of a doctorate or habilitation at TU Dresden.
