Day of the Faculty of Civil Engineering 2024
This is what they look like, this year's graduates! In the academic year 2023-2024, a total of 185 students successfully completed their studies at our Faculty, a reason to celebrate, which is celebrated every year at the Faculty of Civil Engineering Day. This year, the ceremony took place on October 25 in lecture hall ABS/E11. The welcome address by our Dean Prof. Stamm was followed by a keynote speech by Prof. Kleinschrot entitled "From Linear to Circular: Building the Present, Shaping the Future." With her lecture, the Chair of Construction Technologies and Circular Value Creation gave the graduates a clear mission for the world of work: our resources are finite. In sustainable project planning, waste must not only be reduced, not recycled, but completely avoided.
Afterwards, the best graduates were honored with prizes and the graduation certificates were presented. The graduates themselves also had their say: Dipl.-Ing. Jakob Schulze and Dipl.-Ing. Philipp Grunze reviewed their time as students in their graduation speech for all those present. The two musicians Fabian Zeller on the guitar and Raúl Beltrán on the quena flute created a festive atmosphere. The event was hosted by Lilli Schraps.
