Research at the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering
At the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering the fields of research cover topics as the soil grain interaction, constitutive modelling, laboratory, model and field testing as well as the numerical analyses of geotechnical boundary problems. In the working group of Applied Geology the usage of natural stones as historical building material and related problems as weathering and damage due to salt are analysed.
