Application deadline for undergraduate degree programs with no admission to TUD
How is the coming winter semester going from October?
The range of courses at TU Dresden is diverse and comprises a total of 124 courses in the 2021/22 academic year that are designed for a wide variety of interests.
The application deadline at TU Dresden for so-called free courses, i.e. undergraduate courses with no admission, was extended this year due to the coronavirus and ends on September 30, 2021. This applies to 33 courses and a large number of subjects from civil engineering to materials science: https://tud.link/bxyv
Prof. Michael Kobel, Vice Rector Education, is looking forward to finally meeting new and old students in person on campus: “After the current pandemic, nothing stands in the way of a semester with sufficient opportunities for intensive personal encounters between teachers and students. All room bookings were carried out as for a normal semester in attendance. We are currently preparing to increase the room capacities, depending on the actual vaccination quota and in compliance with appropriate hygiene rules, so that all students can experience as many events as possible in attendance. We therefore invite all students to make their way to the TU Dresden for the winter semester. International students are also called upon to move to Dresden. If entry is delayed due to Corona, our hybrid digital offer will help you to start your studies from abroad until entry is possible.” he explains in a current video message.
The TU Dresden is looking forward to the new students and accompanies the start of studies with many welcome events as well as the first semester introductions organized by the older students, the so-called ESE events.
