Controlling

The Controlling Department supports and advises the faculties in operational resource management, particularly in the areas of budgeting and project management. In addition to operational support, the Controlling Department's services also include the strategic development and refinement of controlling tools and processes, as well as the design of new strategies and measures.

IT Services

In addition to administrative services, the school's IT services also include the planning and implementation of IT solutions and ensuring IT security within the school.

Through its newsletter “BUnews,” the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering provides regular updates on current events in research, teaching, and developments at the faculties and their institutes.

Services

The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering supports the member faculties in the following joint measures:

  • Promotion of synergies in the area of student advising and examination matters (student services),
  • Support with research projects, especially project management, and technology transfer,
  • Preparation of and support with budgets, controlling and procurement,
  • Coordination of public relations work,
  • Coordination of international activities,
  • ensuring IT support.

The scope and tasks of the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering are based on expediency and the efficient use of resources.
