Funding opportunities for student projects
According to our tasks as student council (§24 (3) SächsHSFG) we also have a small budget each semester for the promotion of student projects.
If and how much we can support, we decide in each individual case. Thereby we attach importance to:
- the proximity to the study
- community interest (positive effect)
- possible involvement in university politics
- possible networking character
- ...
If you are a Student of Geosciences at TU Dresden and you are planning appropriate actions where you need our help, we can support you. Please contact us and we can check in each individual case how we can support you.
There are further possibilities to support student projects through the STURA, through the Association of Friends and Supporters of the TU Dresden, but also through the department or faculty depending on your concerns. Within the framework of the current excellence strategy of the TU Dresden, there is the FOSTER Fund for Student Research, which can also be used to support student research projects, material costs for theses, costs for conferences and the like.
