air staff received training for Transoft Solution products‘ AviPLAN and SkySAFE

On November 19^th in 2018, several members of the chair switched their perspective and took place as auditorium within the drawing room of the Gerhart-Potthoff building. Reason for this was a training in AutoCAD based tools AviPLAN and SkySAFE from the company Transoft Solutions. In future, both tools are going to be used for lectures and research to support airport planning processes and safety assessment within terminal manoeuvring area. It is intended to demonstrated SkySAFE within the basic course Air Transport Facilities, Operations and Air traffic Control Part II and use AviPLAN for Research Seminar already during the next summer semester.
