Brief description: The overall project ExCELL aims at developing and piloting a platform that enables integrated mobility services for SMEs. Based on existing geospatial, traffic situation and operational data, a crowdsourcing approach is pursued to ensure decentralization, flexibility and timeliness. From the perspective of transportation science, the goal is to open up crowdsourcing as a new data source for traffic management and to support road users in satisfying their mobility needs in a multimodal way and optimally adapted to the current and future traffic situation. To this end, the existing Dresden traffic management system VAMOS (Traffic Analysis Management and Optimization System) will first be usefully expanded to include the new data sources. On the basis of these, new mobility services will then be generated on a crowdsourcing platform, which will then be available to road users.
