Prof. Dr. Bernhard Schipp elected to the Academic Advisory Board of the Franco-German University (DFH)
The Faculty's International Affairs Officer, Prof. Dr. Bernhard Schipp, has been elected to the Academic Advisory Board of the Franco-German University (DFH) for the period from March 1 to December 31, 2024.
The Franco-German University (DFH) is an institution under international law founded by Germany and France in 1997 with its own legal personality. The central task of the DFH is to initiate, evaluate and financially support Franco-German degree programs. The programs are offered by a network of 208 universities, universities of applied sciences and grandes écoles in more than 140 cities in Germany, France and third countries.
The Academic Advisory Board consists of up to 20 members and advises the bodies of the Franco-German University on all matters of research and teaching related to the fulfillment of the purpose of the Franco-German University. Academics are appointed as members whose outstanding experience in teaching and research guarantees that they can provide the Franco-German University and its committees with qualified advice on all specialist issues relating to the planning, design and implementation of degree programs.
