SINA project nominated for EURO Excellence in Practice Award

The project SINA - Schichtplanerstellung für Zugebegleiter im Nahverkehr bei der DB Regio AG, successfully carried out by the Chair of Industrial Management, was selected as one of 6 finalists for the Europe-wide EURO Excellence in Practice Award . This prize has been awarded since 1995 by the Association of European Operational Research Societies for outstanding accomplishments in the practice of OR. During the EURO 2019 conference from 23-26 June 2019, all finalists will have the opportunity to present their project and the winner will be chosen by a jury.

Furthermore, at EURO 2019 the Session Scheduling Models for Complex Manufacturing Systems will be organized by Prof. Buscher and Dr. Neufeld.
