Throwback: Faculty Day and Graduation Ceremony on May 18, 2022
Great weather, nice ambience, music and nice conversations at the summer party in the backyard of Schumann-Bau and Hülße-Bau
After a two-year break, the day of the Faculty and the graduation ceremony could finally take place on campus again on May 18, 2022. At at 1:00 p.m. in the lecture hall POT 81/H the day of the faculty started with the inaugural lectures of Prof. Dr. Blagoy Blagoev (Chair of Organization) and Prof. Dr. Christian Leßmann (Chair of International Economics) as well as the presentation of the faculty prizes (read more about the award winners).

Dr. Katja Bley was awarded the Dr. Feldbausch Prize for her PhD thesis. The work was supervised by Prof. Dr. Susanne Strahringer. © Klaus Gigga
Dr. David Schönheit erhielt ebenfalls den Dr. Feldbausch-Preis für die beste Dissertation. Er war zur Preisverleihung ebenso wie sein Doktorvater, Prof. Dr. Dominik Möst, zugeschaltet. © ben gierig
Mattias Altmann from the Chair of Information Management and Dr. Sebastian Oelrich from the Chair of Corporate Accounting and Controlling received the Dr. Händel Prize to support contacts abroad. © Klaus Gigga
Dr. Gunda Alexandra Detmers from the Chair of International Monetary Economics received the Deutsche Bundesbank Prize. © Klaus Gigga
The day of the faculty was followed by the graduates farewell in the AUDIMAX. 140 graduates came to follow the dean's speech and the alumni speech and to receive their graduate hats. Dear graduates: We really enjoyed the day and hope that you will continue to be connected to TU Dresden and Dresden!
