Our Cause
Today’s most pressing economic challenges, like climate change, financial crises, disruptions in commodity markets, and income disparities, are transnational. Approaching them calls for a sound understanding of national and cross-national policymaking and their interlocking, with questions of international policy coordination at its core.
Our Master's program in Public and International Economics (PIE) addresses these very questions. As a graduate, you will be able to tackle economic policy problems in a globalized world using up-to-date empirical and theoretical methods.
The PIE program has succeeded the Master's program in "Economics" in winter 2023. Students of the latter please refer to the Webseite Master Economics for all information oin their program!
