PURE tested for the first time
From 10th to 14th December 2018, four training sessions with live presentations and detailed introduction took place, initiating the two-month test phase. Participants were able to enter their own research data and thoroughly test the new system. Staff members of the Research Information Unit were on site to answer questions of the test users and receive initial feedback.
One test user had already developed some ideas about how she would like to use the renewed FIS in the future. She plans to replace the publication database that is used in science with the PURE system. This is a great idea, as there would be no more need to invest any more capacities in the maintenance of "homemade" publication databases on site. It is important to many users that in the future every scientist will have a personal login. Other participants attach importance to the fact that also in the future the publication or project lists can be integrated into personal or institutional websites...
May we ask test users to please send us your comments, questions and suggestions about the new PURE system? You can do so via email at .
