Qualification Program of the Graduate Academy
The qualification program aims to support early career researchers during all stages of their academic career, during and immediately after their doctorate.
Therefore, our program provides training opportunities tailored to the needs of their actual or next career step. Our focus is on developing transferable skills and key competencies as well as on the personality development of early career researchers.
Confirmed membership in the Graduate Academy is mandatory for participation in the Qualification Program. Our courses are free of charge.
Qualification Program of the Gradute Academy
The qualification program aims to support early-career researchers, doctoral candidates, and postdocs throughout all stages of their academic careers.
Therefore, the program provides training opportunities tailored to the needs of junior researchers' actual or next career step. Our focus is on developing transferable skills and critical competencies and on developing their personalities.
The prerequisite for participation is confirmed membership in the Graduate Academy/Postdoc Center.
The program covers seminars and workshops in the five areas

- Professional in Science/ Research Management
- Leadership and Management Skills
- Career Development
Doctoral candidates can register for workshops in the winter semester of 2024 here.
Postdocs can register for workshops in the winter semester of 2024/2025 here.

- The prerequisite for participation is confirmed membership in the Graduate Academy/Postdoc Center.
- Registration for seminars and workshops is possible on this website (on a first-come, first-served basis). For this purpose, a ZIH user account is required because you will be forwarded to the Promovendus website. If you do not have a ZIH user account, we can request a guest login for you.
- The number of workshops and seminars each member of the Graduate Academy can attend is limited to 5 courses every semester! Short Workshops and lectures are not affected by this regulation.
- If you are prevented from taking part in a workshop or seminar, please inform the GA immediately, at least ten working days in advance.
- After the successful completion of a seminar or workshop, you will get a certificate of participation.
