Researching, teaching, inspiring - female professors at TU Dresden
TU Dresden is one of Germany's leading universities and aims to attract, promote and retain excellent female scientists worldwide. The new TUD film "Research, Teach, Inspire - Female Professors at TU Dresden" portrays three outstanding female scientists who have deliberately chosen TU Dresden as their place of research and work. They provide personal insights into their career paths, their research and the special opportunities offered by the university - from interdisciplinary networks and innovative research conditions to funding programs in a targeted manner.

Information on the three protagonists of the video:
Prof. Anna-Lena Zietlow is Chair of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. In her research, she is interested in the influence of parental psychological disorders, early relationship and interaction experiences, psychobiological correlates and family environmental factors on the psychological development of children.
Prof. Caroline Murawski holds the Chair of Biomedical Sensor Technology and is Director of the Institute of Solid State Electronics. She is a renowned scientist with core research areas in the development of flexible and miniaturized biomedical sensors based on organic semiconductor devices.
Prof. Stefanie Speidel is Professor of Translational Surgical Oncology at the National Center for Tumor Diseases Dresden (NCT/UCC). With her core research areas of robot-assisted surgery, Prof. Speidel bridges the gap between medicine and computer science and engineering.
