Leichte Sprache – ein geeignetes Werkzeug für die Kommunikation zwischen mehrsprachigen Eltern und der Schule?
Working with the parents of school-age children and adolescents is an integral part of the educational partnership between school and home, which, however, has rarely found its way into teacher training. With a heterogeneous student body, familiar questions arise once again in a completely new way: How can parental work with migrant parents, for example, be designed - also linguistically? What influence does parental work in a migration society have specifically on DaZ teaching? And how are future teachers of German as a foreign language prepared for this?
The article Leichte Sprache – ein geeignetes Werkzeug für die Kommunikation zwischen mehrsprachigen Eltern und der Schule? addresses these questions, among others, and presents the results of a cooperation project between the extension subject German as a Second Language at the Technical University of Dresden and the Gewerkschaft Erziehung und Wissenschaft Sachsen on parent-school interaction. The article was written by Dr Torsten Andreas and Anke Börsel and with the assistance of Lisa Gulich and Rico Ehren (student assistant at the ZfI), among others.
