Studying at the Chair of Vocational Education
Our strategic goal in teaching is to use evidence and evidence-based theories to effectively support students in developing professional competence in relation to vocational education and training. We pay attention to high scientific rigor, content coherence and practical relevance of teaching objectives and content and aim for high student motivation, deep understanding and evidence-based thinking and action. We systematically encourage this in our lectures and seminars - e.g. through interactions that provide constructive support (e.g. appreciative communication, constructive handling of mistakes). Finally, we incorporate the results of our research into our teaching.
