Cooperation with the Nutrition Council Dresden and region in the context of nutrition education

On November 5, an exchange and networking meeting took place in the Kulturpalast (Dresden) in the context of nutrition education. The Nutrition Council Dresden and Region and the Chair of Nutritional and Household Sciences and Vocational Didactics (TU Dresden) organized this meeting with the aim of working together with the various stakeholders on a sustainable vision for nutrition education in Dresden.

The schedule included the presentation of the Nutrition Council and its vision (e.g. for nutrition education) by Ms. Petersen (Coordinator of the Nutrition Council Dresden) and the document "Good Food for Germany - Nutrition Strategy of the Federal Government" by Prof. Dr. Markert. Afterwards, there was time for the exchange of offers and cooperation ideas between the stakeholders.

Nutrition education is a strategic topic of the Chair, which influences research and teaching measures, among other things.
