Mobile hearing support
Since 2019, mobile technology for hearing assistance can be borrowed from the Chair of Educational Science with a focus on inclusive education.
While lecture halls are often equipped with hearing or induction loops, this technology is lacking in seminar and meeting rooms. With the help of the mobile technology that can be borrowed, events can now also be held in seminar and meeting rooms that meet the needs of students, employees or guests with hearing impairments.
The loanable case contains: an FM system, a set consisting of a Sennheiser EW 300 G2 transmitter, a mobile receiver and a charging station.
This technology is available at several locations at TU Dresden. The sets can be combined with each other. The preset channels can be synchronized as required so that, for example, several receivers can be assigned to one transmitter. A current list of the locations of all sets is available as a PDF. Further information can also be found on the TUD Diversity Management page.
The contact person for borrowing the technology at the Chair of Inclusive Education is Carolin Thiele.
