Exhibition "[In]Visible. Visualizations in Science" | Cosmo Wissenschaftsforum
The exhibition "[In]Visible. Visualizations in Science" takes place from May 27 to August 6, 2025, in the COSMO Wissenschaftsforum, Dresden. It explores the world of invisible data and how visualizations - such as interactive maps, VR, and models - bring information to light. Topics range from city scents to global weather patterns. The exhibition demonstrates how data can tell stories, evoke emotions, and influence decisions. Featuring examples from Dresden research and international partners, it offers engaging insights into the importance of visualization; good visualizations can be exciting, aesthetically pleasing, and insightful and critically they make visible what is hidden within large amounts of data.
Responsible for the project: Center for Interdisciplinary Digital Sciences (CIDS): CODIP and DST in cooperation with the CNS at Indiana University, Bloomington, USA
