Strategic partnerships of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences
The School of Humanities and Social Sciences maintains a large number of international partnerships with universities worldwide. You can find an overview of existing partnerships and collaborations on these pages. As part of the Institutional Strategy, partnerships with the universities in Trento and Wrocław in particular are being expanded. Separate funding is also available for related research collaborations. Please contact us if you are interested!
University of Wrocław
The School of Humanities and Social Sciences has been developing a partnership with the University of Wrocław since 2014. You can find more information here.
University of Trento (Italy)
The cooperation between the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the University of Trento (Italy) focuses primarily on the joint double master's degree program. More information about the partnership with the University of Trento can be found here.
DAAD program "Eastern Partnerships"
The DAAD program "Eastern Partnerships" promotes study and research stays as well as partnership relations with universities in Central Eastern, Eastern and South Eastern Europe as well as the countries of the South Caucasus and Central Asia. Further information can be found here.
Kyoto University of Foreign Studies
Since 2021, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences has maintained a partnership with Kyoto University of Foreign Studies (KUFS), an international university with around 4,500 students from all over the world located in one of Japan's most historically and culturally significant cities. Every summer semester, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences offers three places for students interested in studying at KUFS for one semester.
