Data protection declaration, registration for the workshop "Exploring Socio-Technical Research", September 22-23, 2022, TU Dresden

1. Purpose and Data Collecting Authority

The data is collected for the purpose of registration for the workshop "Exploring Socio-Technical Research". They are used to plan rooms, catering and event formats. In addition, the data will be used to plan whether a group meeting Media Sociology Division (section of the DGPuK) can take place.

2. Data Processing

Following registration, your data will be forwarded to the mail address multiintermethods@tu-dresden.de as well as stored on the server of the WebCMS, TU Dresden. The storage on the servers of the WebCMS serves the creation of lists to support organizational processes. After the end of the workshop the data on the server of the WebCMS will be completely deleted. Only team members of the research project "Disruptions of Networked Privacy" (DIPCY) have access to the e-mail address multiintermethods@tu-dresden.de. The research project uses a separately protected server to store its data.

3. Voluntariness and Withdrawal of Consent

Your information is voluntary and consent can be revoked at any time. In the event of refusal of consent or revocation, the data will be deleted immediately from all storage locations. Data subjects may request immediate deletion.

4. Data Transfer

There is no transmission of personal data to third parties.

5. Storage Period

The data stored on the WebCMS at TU Dresden will be deleted within one week after the end of the workshop, i.e. by September 30, 2022 at the latest. The data stored on the server of the DIPCY research project will be deleted by December 31, 2022.

6. Right to Information

I am aware that I may at any time request information about the data processed concerning my person as well as the possible recipients of this data to whom it has been transferred. I am entitled to a reply within one month of the responsible party for data processing receiving my request for information.

7. Data Protection Officer and Supervisory Authority for Data Protection

I am aware that I may contact the Data Protection Officer of TU Dresden and the responsible supervisory authority for data protection at any time.
