Conference on the history of reappraisal with a lecture by Silke Fehlemann

Our colleague Silke Fehlemann is taking part in the Düsseldorf conference "Vom Skandal zur Aufarbeitung. Experiences of injustice by children and young people in post-war German history in the focus of the politics of remembrance" with a presentation about "Reappraisal from an emotional-historical perspective".

The conference will take place from June 12 to 14, 2024 at the Institute of History, Theory and Ethics of Medicine at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. Further information on the schedule and participants can be found in the conference program.

The conference will open on June 12 at 6 p.m. with a public evening lecture by Prof. Dr. Ralph Jessen on dealing with the burdened past in Germany since 1945.
