#16 "MEINE FREIHEIT, DEINE FREIHEIT" - freely adapted from Georg Kreisler
It started with the question of whether it's okay to go on a skiing vacation. That was in March 2020. Since then, we have been discussing more or less continuously what degree of freedom is due to whom, what radius of movement is necessary. At the same time, solidarity, consideration, responsibility and patience are being demanded.
It's time to talk in concrete terms about what freedom rights mean for whom in times of the pandemic and what the same situation looks like for others. Time for EITHER OR - a decision MUST be made - but only a well-founded one. Schnick Schnack Schnuck does not apply.
Two people, each taking a position and you discuss which is more important.
I want to go to the movies - you want to go on vacation.
I want to visit my grandma - you don't want to be home alone tonight.
I want to work in the office - you want to go to the gym.
I want to go out in the evening - you want to stay healthy.
I don't want my children to wear masks - you want your children to go to school.
I want to celebrate my birthday now - you want to go to a festival in the summer.
I want to talk to friends in person - you don't want to quarantine in your shared room.
I want my children to be able to play freely in the playground - you want to go to the sauna.
I want a no-Covid strategy - you don't want any more homeschooling.
I want to open my restaurant - you want coffee breaks with colleagues.
