#18 Political education at the bus stop
Political education must go to where people are - it must not wait on the high mountain of demands until those interested in politics find it on their own. But where do people interact? - preferably different ones - to enable encounters? And when are they willing and able to engage with an offer of political education?
We at JoDDiD believe it would be a real opportunity to think about social areas where people have to wait for something. Political education in the waiting room, at the train station or at the bus stop. This can also happen without words. For example, political, social or societal questions could be written on the floor with thick chalk pens and fields could be drawn on which waiting people indicate answers to each other. A group of artists has already done something similar and marked bus stops with decision questions.
