Please consider that the requirements might differ according to your degree programme. Please consult your examination office for the rules applicable to your course.
- The grades will be published in selma on Friday of calendar week 11 in the winter semester and on 15 September in the summer semester.
- At the end of the semester, the participation certificate will be made available in selma (without signature and stamp). If you need a signed and stamped participation certificate to present to your examination office, please email the PDF of the certificate to the study organization (). A signed version will then be returned to you by email.

Register for the language exam during the exam registration period (winter semester: 2nd + 3rd week of January / summer semester: 25th – 27th calendar weeks in June/July) in selma under exams register|deregister.
At the end of the semester, you will receive the participation certificate (without signature and stamp) for the language course you have passed under the menu item “Documents | Notices | Certificates” (“Dokumente | Bescheide | Bescheinigungen”).
For official documents (with signature and stamp) and certificates, please contact the LSK-TUDIAS study organization team directly (sprachen.zentrum@tu-dresden).
If the examinations office in your degree program still requires the original paper certificate (many of them do), you will need the participation certificate (“Teilnahmeschein”) to present to the examinations office of your degree program (“Prüfungsamt”). You must therefore register in selma and then print out the certificate if you have successfully passed the language exam.
You always have to register in selma for the participation certificate (“Teilnahmeschein”) and - if applicable - register a second time for the following combinations (may differ depending on your field of study):
