Brief Description
The federal-state program for better study conditions and more quality in teaching ("Teaching Quality Pact") supports 186 universities from all 16 states in improving student support and the quality of teaching. The joint project "Teaching Practice in Transfer" focuses on subject-specific challenges of teaching and learning as well as the didactic foundation of the use of new media in university teaching. Above all, consulting services and workshops are intended to support and sustainably promote teachers in the implementation of their teaching. The focus of the project is on the exchange and networking between teachers and the cross-university transfer of proven and innovative teaching concepts. Five Saxon universities cooperated in the project: TU Bergakademie Freiberg, TU Chemnitz, TU Dresden with the International Institute (IHI) Zittau and the University Leipzig.
